About Zahra Bachlani
My name is Zahra Bachlani and my journey with Reflexology began during my pregnancy in 2010 when I had treatments to help with the symptoms I was experiencing; low energy, difficulty sleeping, heartburn and hyperemesis gravidarum (severe morning sickness which lasted 30 weeks). I am also confident that the treatments I received contributed to me having a natural labour with no form of pain relief. I found the treatments so remarkable that I continued to have Reflexology after my son was born as I could see all the positive effects it was having on me. This stimulated my desire for researching, learning more and wanting to become a Reflexologist myself.
I am a fully qualified member of the Association of Reflexology. I studied at the prestigious London School of Reflexology and was taught by Louise Keet, who is regarded as “Britain’s leading Reflexology practitioner” (Mail on Sunday). Subsequently I have the ABC Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology. In addition to Reflexology, I am fully qualified in Preconception and Pregnancy Reflexology, Hand Reflexology and Indian Head Massage.
Previous to this, for my undergraduate degree, I qualified from Surrey University in 2004 with a BSc (Hons) in Nutrition. I then went on to do a Masters in Public Health Nutrition at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in 2005. I interned at the World Health Organisation, Geneva and United Nations in Amman, Jordan. I worked in schools all over London as a Nutritionist for four years which gave me a great appreciation for a holistic approach to good health.
